It was hot, we had a 14 metre space that was the envy of other stallholders (especially if they knew it hadn't cost us anything to be there) into which we could just fit both marquees. There were loads of trade stalls, a motorcycle display team both days and a parachute display on Sunday. The bands on Friday and Saturday night were OK rather than stunning but they played some good cover tunes.
With over a dozen bikes on display at any one time we had plenty of enquiries from people with old and new Triumphs, some of whom turned out to belong to the club already. People left details of stuff they had for sale or were looking for. One guy stopped to say he had a set of high bars for a Speed Triple 900, and half an hour later another guy stopped to enquire whether anybody was selling exactly the same thing! The appropriate 'phone number was passed on... Many thanks are due to Lee Sykes for organising the exhibitor passes and the marquee and gazebo.
