This was a rare day when the weather was almost too hot to contemplate riding around, but there was a respectable turnout at the Pied Bull even if some people's timekeeping suggested that they had forgotten to wind their sundials.
It took about an hour to get to our destination, along the A25 and A21 to the A26 and then the A267. If you don't know it, Wessons is a motorcycle clothing and accessory shop with a sizable café out the back. For future reference (and to my surprise) they have their own Web site at http://www.wessonscafe.com. They also stock possibly the biggest selection of Ogri-branded memorabilia I have seen in one place, hence the nickname.
Anyway food and drink was purchased in varying quantites, we bumped into some members of West Sussex TOMCC who were also out for a run and then after an hour on the little terrace in front of the shop it was all back to the Pied Bull before heading home. Worth doing again I thought!
