Weather-wise this was like Danson Park in reverse - fine for those who got down there on the Saturday but beset by heavy rain from late Sunday morning on. Happily the club stand was inside so we didn't have to test the weather-proofing of the marquee and there was a direct route to the beer tent.
There were some fine collections of bikes of all types from ancient to modern, oriental to occidental (no jokes about road traffic occidents please), but we still managed to carry off four awards, including best stand and prizes to Gary Lineham's T160 Trident and Dave Haigh's Thruxton Bonneville (sorry, forgot the last one!).
Suffice it to say the auto-jumble closed early and I got soaked on the way home, like may others I'm sure!
